TruthOrDare - Data Safety & Security

Data We Process

  • Prompt settings: the selected category and any custom rules you enter.
  • Generated prompts: truth/dare items returned by the backend for use during gameplay.
  • Session gameplay data: player names and scores are maintained for the current session (no user account sync is implemented in the game code).
  • Ad-related information: limited device/network information and advertising identifiers used by AdMob to deliver and measure ads.

How Prompts Are Handled

TruthOrDare loads fallback truth/dare data bundled with the app for instant gameplay readiness. When you initiate a session, the App may request additional prompts from the backend using your selected category and custom rules.

Generated prompts are used in-game during the active session. The App stores the current prompt lists in memory while you play.

Security Measures

HTTPS-encrypted communication for backend requests
Tokenless gameplay request pattern (only prompt settings and content are sent)
Secure handling of in-game prompt lists in memory
Regular updates and improvements to reduce vulnerabilities
Use of Google AdMob for standardized ad delivery
Data minimization: only what is needed for gameplay and ads

Data Sharing Policy

We share or transmit prompt settings and gameplay requests to our backend to generate truth/dare prompts. Ads are delivered by AdMob, which may receive limited device/network and advertising identifiers to deliver and measure ads.

Updates

We may update our data safety practices from time to time. Any material changes will be reflected on this page.
